2026 Staff Volunteer Registration
We want you! Would you like to offer your support to these terrific athletes during this iconic Florida race? Volunteer and you will be of real help to lots of amazing runners on race weekend.
When you register, you choose your preferred position, location, and time slot. All positions are first come, first served. Greyed-out positions have already been filled, and positions requiring a password are reserved for sponsoring or technical groups.
Simple Signup Process

- Find your category, such as “Finish Line” or “Monitoring Locations,” and follow the prompts.
Race Weekend Volunteer Positions
Friday, May 15
Runner check-in at Key Largo Holiday Inn, under the tiki hut
- Set up tables and gear
- Check in runners using the RunSignup app
- Distribute runner packets, racing bibs, vehicle posters, and related materials
Saturday, May 16
Runner check-in in Marathon for the 50-mile race and Big Pine Key for the 50-kilometer race
- Set up tables and gear for packet pick-up
- Check in runners using the RunSignup app
- Distribute race packets, bibs, vehicle posters, and related materials
Along the Route
Timing station monitors
- Monitor runner progress
- Assist at listed locations along the course
Finish Line Support - Saturday, May 16 and Sunday, May 17
- Greet arriving runners and teams
- Present finisher medals and 100-mile individual buckles
- Assist with food and drink distribution, cooking, and prep
- Assist with the on-site awards presentation on Sunday
Medical Volunteers
Doctors, nurses, and medics may be stationed along the route or serve in mobile roles, with finish line presence as well.
Photography Volunteers
Grab your camera, come to the Keys, and join the team to help capture the race.
- Photograph arriving finishers on Higgs Beach in Key West
- Document the excitement of the race starts in Key Largo, Marathon, and Big Pine Key
- Shoot candid moments along the course to capture both the beauty and difficulty of this ultramarathon
