Photo & Video Guidelines

KEYS100® - 2026

Personal photographers and videographers are allowed only when properly approved and registered in advance.

Who Is Allowed

Individual runners and teams may have up to two (2) personal photographers or videographers.

These additional media participants are allowed in addition to the standard support crew or team driver allotment, but they are still subject to race approval and registration requirements.

Vehicle Rules

  • Photographers and videographers must ride in the support vehicle
  • They may not drive separately
  • Each runner or team is allowed only one support vehicle on the course
All personal photographers and videographers must be approved by the Chief Race Marshal no later than three weeks prior to race day and must register as Runner or Team Photographer.

Conduct & Responsibility

  • Approved photographers and videographers are considered an extension of runner or team support personnel
  • Warnings and penalties may apply to the runner or team based on their actions
  • They may not impede traffic
  • They may not interfere with another participant
  • The privacy of others, including the general public, must be respected at all times
If an unregistered film crew is discovered on the course following a runner or team, the competitor may be disqualified and their bib may be forfeited.

Drones & Media Credentials

Drone use is subject to additional restrictions and proof of license requirements.

Bona fide public media interested in documenting the race should contact the Race Director to request media credentials no later than two weeks prior to race day.

Planning Note

If you plan to bring personal media support, get approval early and make sure registration is completed before race weekend.
