Race Start

All race distances will have groups of approximately twelve (12) to fifteen (15) runners starting the race at 5-minute intervals.  Check-in with the race starter five minutes before your corral is scheduled to begin.

Individual runners and teams will be mixed together at the start for the 100-mile and 50-mile distances.

Starting time/corral placement will be assigned to individual runners when they register, first-come, first-served.  ASSIGNMENTS ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE IN THE RACE DIRECTOR'S SOLE DISCRETION WITHIN ONE HOUR OF THE SELECTED TIME.  Team Captains will select a preferred time subject to availability and that time will be the team's starting time unless otherwise notified. KEYS100® official times are "net"--i.e., the clock starts when the runner crosses the start line timing mat.  

100-mile races staggered starts begin at 5:30 am, after limited elite corrals beginning at 5:15am. 

50-mile race staggered starts begin at 9:00 AM

50-kilometer race staggered starts begins at Noon.
